As a financial advisor with RBC Wealth Management, I realize that every client has a distinct set of circumstances and financial objectives. By taking a comprehensive approach to wealth planning, I help my clients tailor customized financial solutions to meet their unique needs and financial goals. This starts with establishing a solid relationship built on trust and experience, which is essential in navigating both good and volatile markets.
I began my career in financial services in 1997 with American Express Financial Advisors and later worked for PaineWebber Incorporated, Morgan Stanley, Citi Group and Oppenheimer & Co before joining RBC Wealth Management in 2017. My clients include individuals, corporations, nonprofits and credit unions. Prior to choosing a career in the financial industry, I practiced law before deciding to return to finance, believing that a law degree, paired with my knowledge of economics, would offer my clients a more holistic perspective on investments and wealth planning.
I have passed the Series 7, 63 and 65 securities exams, and hold life insurance and variable annuities licenses. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and communications in 1991 from the University of Michigan. I also earned my law degree in 1994 from American University. While attending law school, I completed courses abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina and Santiago, Chile and am fluent in Spanish.
I am very involved in the community and am a supporter of music and the arts. I am a member of the Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the Washington, D.C. Chapter of University of Michigan Alumni Association.
I live with my wife and children on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. and enjoy reading and music.
