Working with a CPWA® Professional

The the Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®) designation is an advanced credential created specifically for wealth managers who work with high net worth clients, focusing on the life cycle of wealth - accumulation, preservation and distribution. Candidates who earn the certification understand how to develop specific strategies to help minimize taxes, monetize and protect assets, maximize growth and transfer wealth. The CPWA® certification is considered the standard for competence in the field of wealth management today.

The program takes a holistic and multidisciplinary approach consisting of 6 months of self-study, five days of coursework at The University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business and a final board examination covering the following topics: tax strategies and planning, estate issues and wealth transfer, charitable giving and endowments, portfolio management, risk management and asset protection, planning for executives, planning for closely held business owners, family dynamics and retirement management.

This achievement exemplifies our team’s commitment to effectively serve as an advocate in all areas of wealth management, and provide comprehensive strategies for the families, individuals and organizations we have the pleasure to advise.
