I graduated from Seattle University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and economics, obtained while working full-time as a corporate cash manager at Skippers Seafood & Chowder House.
In 1988, I joined Prudential Securities. My training was on Wall Street in New York, and I returned to Seattle as associate vice president – financial consultant. In 1994, I joined with Salomon Smith Barney in Seattle, and held the position of first vice president – senior portfolio manager. In 2003, I joined RBC Wealth Management. I earned the firm’s internal designation of Accredited Wealth Manager (AWM) through a program sponsored by RBC Wealth Management and Michigan State University. This program is designed to provide financial advisors with cutting-edge strategies and training on the firm’s wealth management processes.
I have helped clients achieve their financial, retirement and estate goals by providing comprehensive strategies in asset allocation, risk management and estate planning for the past 30 years. I have served on numerous boards in the past and am currently the acting treasurer for the Women’s Golf Group at Wing Point Country Club. I passed the Series 7, 63 and 65 securities exams, hold an insurance license and am registered in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Missouri, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Tennessee and Washington state.
