I started my career in the financial industry in 1998 at age 21 at AIG SunAmerica in Los Angeles, California. At SunAmerica I assisted Financial Advisors from various brokerage houses across the country with solutions related to annuities and 401k. Promoted twice, I rose to the position of Key Account Executive traveling country-wide marketing and coordinating SunAmerica's presence at National Brokerage houses, earning several awards for exceptional performance.
By 2005 I was tired of the traffic and the cost of living in Southern California and was offered a position with another large insurance company, The Hartford. This new position was based in Arizona which brought me closer to my family. I thoroughly enjoyed working for The Hartford because the position allowed me to conduct client seminars and strategize with individual investors about guaranteed retirement income in Arizona, New Mexico, and Nevada.
In 2009, with twelve years of investment experience, I was given the opportunity that my career up to this point had prepared me for and joined my father at RBC Wealth Management as a financial advisor. In 2014 I completed the Focus Advisor Training program and was approved as a RBC Focus Advisor which allows me to create investment portfolios on a discretionary basis. It is my goal help individuals, families, and small business owners prepare for financial milestones by creating Wealth Plans which goes way beyond a simple investment portfolio.
In 2018 and 2021, I was recognized as one of the Top Female Advisors in the country in Working Moms Magazine and in 2019, 2021 and 2022, I was named a Forbes Best-in-State Wealth advisor. In 2020, 2021, and 2022 I was recognized as a Forbes Top Women Wealth Advisor.
When I am not in the office I am a mother of boy/girl twins and a wife of a Tax Attorney. Our lives are full and blessed. We are active members of Desert Springs Bible Church and enjoy hiking as a family, yoga, and fine wine.
