Qualifications
I started with Dain Bosworth in 1987. Through several name changes and over 35 years, I've chosen to stay with the same company that is now called RBC Wealth Management. For me, that is a testament to values and ethics of RBC and the quality of the people who work here.
I earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Oregon State University. The world's markets were always of great interest to me growing up, and I chose to follow my passion. My accounting background gives me a great platform to help evaluate and determine the best mix of investments to help you reach your goals. I have passed the Series 7, 63 and 66 securities exams and am licensed in the state of Washington to provide a large array of insurance services.
Personal
I have resided in Seattle for more than 35 years and enjoy many of the activities the city has to offer, including the theater, symphony and museums, as well as the beaches, parks & golf courses around the city. I grew up playing competitive golf and played in several national tournaments, including the U.S. Amateur in 1985. In the northwest, I competed in the Hudson Cup and the Hogan Cup. The competitive ability is gone, but I still enjoy playing golf with my wife, Lynn, and many other friends & clients.
