Billy Brandenberger
Senior Vice President - Branch Director
Professional history
I began my career at PaineWebber in 2000 and worked at Smith Barney, Morgan Stanley and Southwest Securities before finding my way to RBC Wealth Management. Focusing on tailoring tax-free municipal bond portfolios for clients, I am the fourth-generation Brandenberger to be in the municipal bond business. I am honored to have been able to work with my grandfather, John Brandenberger, the first two years of my career and my father, Bob Brandenberger, until his retirement in May of 2019 after 50 years in the business. I am an RBC President’s Council member and have served on the Fixed Income Advisory Council for RBC. I also am a member of the Institutional Middle Markets Team for RBC Capital Markets on both the fixed income and equity/options side.
Education background
I graduated from Texas Christian University with a double major in international communications and Spanish. I received my master’s degree in finance from the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University in 2010.
Personal
I was born and raised in Houston, Texas, and moved to Dripping Springs in 2015. I enjoy keeping my property maintained, as well as practicing Brazilian jiu jitsu. My two daughters', Bailey and Blair, interests in volleyball, cheerleading and following in my jiu jitsu footsteps keep me on the go.

She spent her early years traveling the world, living and visiting places like Hungary, Romania, the former Soviet Union, New Zealand, Cape Town, and the Kalahari Desert and Okavango Swamps in Botswana.
Elise moved to Austin in 2008. Focused on her family and children’s schooling, she spent time volunteering and was a School Board Member for 3 years before coming to work as an intern with RBC Wealth Management in 2014. She was eager to get to know the business and took every opportunity to learn and grow. In 2018 she started full-time with RBC and became fully licensed soon after. She has worked in various positions with the firm including annuities/insurance, marketing, operations, recruiting and is now the Branch Service Manager.
Elise feels very fortunate to have had the opportunity to grow a successful career doing what she loves most, building relationship with her clients and helping people. “This business is more than just market watching and finance. We build trust and relationship with our clients.”
