I live in Yakima with my wife Bridget, an educator within the Yakima School District, and our son Denman. We love the outdoors and new adventures -- and spend our free time skiing, cycling, sailing and fly fishing throughout the Pacific Northwest.
I am an active member of the Yakima community - involved with organizations such as Rotary, United Way, Cowiche Canyon Conservancy, and the Yakima School District through various capacities, including Co-Chair of the Crystal Apple Awards. I am passionate about community issues, particularly those relating to education and youth engagement.
I grew up in Bellevue, Washington and graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications. I have been with RBC since 2013, and prior to joining RBC I worked for my family’s businesses — The Seattle Times and the Yakima Herald-Republic newspapers — where I gained a diversified business background that includes digital and print media, marketing, sales management and journalism.
