Qualifications
Charles graduated from Mercyhurst College with a bachelor of arts in 1996. He has been a financial advisor since 2000 and joined RBC Wealth Management as a Financial Advisor in 2005. His focus is on client portfolio management using asset allocation for both qualified and non-qualified accounts. Charles earned his Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS) designation at the Advest Institute at Harvard and the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) designation through the FI360 Capstone program with the Center for Fiduciary Studies. He completed the Advanced Wealth Manager (AWM) Program, a professional designation specifically designed by RBC Wealth Management. This exclusive program builds on the fundamentals of wealth management - our methodology for helping you accumulate, protect, enjoy and transfer your wealth - with a focus on the sophisticated knowledge and skills necessary to gain a deeper understanding of your individual financial objectives and address complex financial needs. He holds his Series 7, 63, 65 and 66 securities licenses and insurance licenses.
Personal
Raised in Erie, PA after college I worked for a Fortune 100 company in Pittsburgh, PA and Columbus, OH until returning to join my father in the financial business in 2000. I had a lead role in the development of Keim Dusckas Caryl Wealth Management Group at RBC Wealth management and am a member. My wife and I have two children and we enjoy golfing, skiing, boating and fishing. I am the past President of Young Erie Professional (YEP!), a past board member and President of the Technology Council of Northwest PA, and a current member of DevelopErie and the Jefferson Educational Society.
