Clay entered the financial industry in 1997 with Morgan Stanley, with the goal of helping clients preserve and grow their assets. That mission has not changed in this time and has only has grown stronger.
Clay had a unique entry into the industry. He started off as a professional golfer with a career that lasted six years. After a wrist injury caused him to change directions, Clay looked for a business model where he could help people. In 1999, he chose RBC Wealth Management because he wanted a more objective and comprehensive approach to wealth management. As a result, in 2024, Clay was awarded the Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisors.
Clay graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with an emphasis in finance and communication. He also passed the Series 7, 65, 67 and holds life and health insurance licenses. Clay has been married to his wife, Betsy, for over 25 years and they have three children.
