I find that in most situations a strategic buy and hold asset allocation strategy that is a broadly diversified portfolio of stocks, bonds, cash and alternative investments can be successful when aligned with the appropriate risk tolerance. In addition, I will closely monitor market and economic events to identify short-term opportunities, while always considering tax consequences.
