Qualifications
Prior to starting my career in the financial services industry in 2004, I ran health clubs for a premier fitness company in Los Angeles and owned two small retail stores. I also took time to be a stay-at-home mom.
I draw from my experiences as a divorcee and single mother to connect with clients who are going through new stages of life. My perspective as an independent female in a male-dominated industry gives me the advantage of helping clients make positive changes in life, their careers and their financial well-being.
I joined RBC Wealth Management in 2014 and won the RBC Award of Excellence for 2015. Starting out as a senior client associate, I was ready to take on more responsibility and was named investment associate before being promoted to senior financial associate in 2020.
Prior to joining RBC Wealth Management, I was a senior client associate at Wachovia Securities and Wells Fargo Advisors. I was also a branch service manager at Merrill Lynch. I studied at Cal State Northridge and received the RBC Wealth Management designation of Associate Planning Professional. I passed the Series 7, 9, 10 and 66 exams.
Personal
I am a member of the Junior League of Long Beach which is an organization that trains and empowers women to be catalysts for lasting community change. My volunteer efforts include the Heart, Mind and Soul project, providing educational support and emergency relief on a local and global level. I have previously served on board of directors for Children Today, a nonprofit organization that provides trauma-informed child development for families experiencing homelessness.
