Getting started as a client:

  • We help you complete the paperwork associated with becoming an RBC Wealth Management client.
  • Based on our conversations, we provide you with a customized investment plan taking into account your risk tolerance, goals, and current portfolio.
  • When investment programs are funded, you are contacted to review.
  • When you receive your first statement, we call to review it with you and make sure you understand it.
  • We will help you get enrolled in and navigate our online account access system. 

 

Once you're onboard:

  • You will be contacted on a regular basis regarding your portfolio and we will have a full review at least once per year. Topics will include account updates, asset allocation review, portfolio performance, and changes in your life that could affect your investment plan.
  • Where applicable, we will meet with your accountant and/or attorney to discuss tax planning, trust and estate planning, and other relevant topics.
  • In January, we provide you and your accountant an income and capital gains report.
  • You have access to account assets via check writing for all Cash Management accounts.
  • You have access to electronic funds transfer (in or out of account) via ACH.
  • You have access to RBC Wealth Management research and market reports.
  • You will receive periodic announcements and invitations to special client events.
  • We will perform a life insurance and annuity review for you every two years or as needed.
  • Upon request, we will provide you with referrals to other trusted professionals (accountants, attorneys, etc.) in their area.
