Qualifications
Dave is a Senior Vice President – Financial Advisor with RBC Wealth Management. Prior to joining RBC Wealth Management in 1991, he spent ten years with the investment firm of Blunt Ellis & Loewi/Kemper Securities. At Loewi, he served as branch manager of that firm’s Racine and Lake Geneva offices from 1984 until joining Loewi’s Executive Services department in 1988. He is a perennial member of RBC Wealth Management’s Chairman’s Council. He is also a member of RBC Wealth Management’s Corporate Services Group, a small group of financial advisors designated by firm management to handle referrals from RBC’s Capital Markets division. In 1990, he earned the designation of Certified Investment Management Analyst and in 2004 completed the Accredited Wealth Manager program. These academic programs build on the fundamentals of wealth management focusing on advanced knowledge and skills necessary to assist high net worth clients with estate planning, trust planning, insurance solutions, and advanced investment strategies.
Community Involvement
Dave is a former Chairman of the Board of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee where he has served as a trustee for the past 12 years. In 2001, Dave co-chaired the club’s annual campaign helping to raise $3.6 million. Previously, Dave served on the boards of the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts, The Milwaukee Shakespeare Company, The Milwaukee Repertory Theater, the Public Policy Forum, the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, and the Wisconsin Aids Fund, as well as co-chairing the Miller Lite Ride for the Arts to benefit the United Performing Arts Fund.
Personal
When he isn’t involved in business or community activities, Dave enjoys sailing, skiing, hunting, golfing, reading, traveling, and spending time with his wife Edie, and daughter Amelia.
