Kevin is a wealth management professional with more than two decades of experience spanning institutional asset management and private wealth management. He works with high-net-worth individuals, business owners and families—alongside their CPAs, estate attorneys and other professional advisors—to develop tax-considerate, goal-driven investment strategies aligned with their estate, charitable, liquidity and long-term family objectives.
Prior to joining RBC Wealth Management, Kevin served as a senior vice president and senior portfolio manager with Private Bank, Bank of America in San Diego, where he held discretionary investment responsibility for more than $1 billion in client assets. He developed and managed customized portfolios across equities, fixed income and alternative investments, directing portfolio construction, asset allocation and investment decisions across challenging market environments.
Previously, Kevin was a senior regional investment consultant at Columbia Threadneedle Investments, where he worked with asset allocators and served as a product specialist for tax-managed equity and municipal fixed-income strategies. His experience across both asset management and private wealth has shaped an investment philosophy focused on disciplined portfolio construction and maximizing long-term after-tax wealth.
Kevin earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and the Certified Investment Management Analyst® certification and is a member of CFA Society San Diego.
