Edward joined RBC Wealth Management in 2015 as the Branch Director of the Houston office and he manages 100 million dollars in assets.* He has over 30 years of experience in the financial securities industry. Ed began his career in banking at First City Bank in Houston, and transitioned to a Financial Advisor at Rauscher Pierce Refsnes in 1981. As the sales manager, he led the Houston office to become Rauscher's highest producing office. In 1997, he joined J.C. Bradford Partners (eventually UBS Financial Services) as an office manager and Financial Advisor to help establish their Texas presence. In 2006 he joined Southwest Securities - Private Client Group as the District Manager, managing the Houston and surrounding Texas offices. He helped build their Houston presence from 30 million dollars in assets to over 1 billion dollars in assets.
Ed earned his Bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Texas at Austin. He holds the Series 7, 8, 63 and 65 licenses.
As leader in community and civic affairs, Ed has generously given his time and expertise to enhance Houston’s quality of life. He currently serves on the boards of Neuhaus Education Center, Brazos Presbyterian Homes, Armand Bayou Nature Center, and Glenwood Cemetery. Active in his faith community, Ed has served on the Vestry, the Prevention and Recovery Council, and the Missions Outreach Committee of St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, Houston. He currently serves as Chairman of the Finance Committee for the St. Martin's Episcopal Church Endowment.
He and wife, Graham, have four children and nine grandchildren. In addition to gatherings with family and friends, he enjoys golf and sailing, working on his cattle farm, hunting and reading.
