What we do for you

We empower you to live the life you want with confidence and purpose through a smart investment approach and wealth planning process that aligns your wealth with the stages and seasons of your life.

Each client we work with is more than a portfolio. You bring us your goals, worries, hopes, and dreams and we adopt them as our own. We offer tools, resources, education, and a network of expertise that extends far beyond finance to support and guide you in whatever comes your way. We will help you efficiently save for your child's college and create a plan to care for elderly parents. We will guide you through unexpected career transitions and planned retirement. We can be counted on during divorce or the loss of a spouse. We understand women's unique financial needs and how to help maximize their wealth in all phases of life.

As a family business, we have been successfully managing people's money for three generations. In honor of Mother’s Day Sunday, this is an appreciation post for my mother. I cannot remember a time in my life where my mom wasn’t teaching me something about being a strong, determined, independent woman. She left a war ridden country as a teenager and came to the US seeking a better life for herself and future family. She taught herself English, overcame divorce, loss of an ex spouse while raising two kiddos on her own and building a business based on her passion and values. While I chose a different industry, I bring the lessons she taught me to my work every day. They serve as the foundation of MY passion to financially empower women in all stages of life. Hence the creation of the exclusive segment of our practice the EmpowHER House Financial Group and my involvement in women-focused non profits. Thank you Mom, for being tough, hilarious, and an inspiration to not just me, but everyone you meet. #mothersday #mompreneur #toughasnails

Harvard Business School, “What, like it’s hard?” -Elle Woods I always have a great time at Harvard and was excited to be invited back in honor of financial literacy month. I presented to students and alumni about savvy tax moves business owners and entrepreneurs should know. One important point I always stress in these situations is that retirement savings is likely your best tax strategy because money you contribute is that much less that you or your business is taxed on. The progression typically goes like this: Max out a…. IRA or Roth IRA ($7K) V SEP IRA ($69K) V SIMPLE IRA ($17,600) V 401K ($23K) V 401K with Profit Sharing ($69K) You’re back! V Defined Benefit Plan (Depending on your age, you can contribute over $300K! which equates to about $100K saved in taxes because of the massive potential business deduction.) It’s just that simple. :) Please share your fav financial or tax tip as a business owner/entrepreneur in the comments! #entrereneur #businessowner #ellewoods
