Richard Fitzburgh is a senior vice president – financial advisor at RBC Wealth Management where he is a leading financial advisor to high-net-worth individuals, corporations and family offices. RBC Wealth Management is one of North America’s leading diversified financial services companies and provides personal and commercial banking, wealth management services, insurance, investor services and capital market services on a global basis.

During his 30-year career in the financial services industry, Mr. Fitzburgh has developed deep expertise in wealth management and estate planning and works closely with a broad network of trust and estate attorneys. He was acknowledged recently as one of the leading professionals in the US by the Financial Times, which named him one of the “Top 400 Finanical Advisors” for 2016.


Mr. Fitzburgh takes a full-service approach with his clients. This can include assisting them with insurance needs, equity-based lending, asset-protection trusts and sophisticated tax strategies* as part of their overall wealth planning. And, to service clients with needs in the professional money management arena, Mr. Fitzburgh’s practice includes top money managers, two of whom are members of Barron’s Roundtable.


Mr. Fitzburgh works extensively with corporations as well – building 401(K) plans, ESOPs, developing pension and profit sharing options and defined benefit plans. He regularly collaborates with RBC’s top investment bankers on client strategies.


Over time, Mr. Fitzburgh has developed a series of events that make his practice unique. These include an annual investment conference solely for his clients featuring well-known economic professionals with valuable perspectives on global topics. Other events focus on art and culture, notably the tremendously successful Art Basel Miami art fair, which connects clients with interest in the arts to internationally renowned artists – providing three days of insider experiences at this world-renowned venue.


Prior to joining RBC Wealth Management in 2008, Mr. Fitzburgh held positions of increasing responsibility at UBS Paine Webber in New York. He began his career in retail with the storied E.F. Hutton Corporation after graduation from Villanova University.


He is active with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and with UN Women.

R. Samuel McGuire has spent his career as a financial advisor to high net worth individuals and corporations. He is a Vice President - Financial Advisor with RBC Wealth Management, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Royal Bank of Canada (RBC).
Sam holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation. He and his team offer comprehensive planning in a needs-based, client-driven manner through a full service approach by utilizing both his expertise and the exceptional resources of RBC. They implement their vast knowledge in money management, hedge funds, private equity investments, fixed income, ESOP’s, wealth management/estate and insurance planning, as well as individual and corporate retirement plans. 
Sam also works closely with RBC’s International Division to assist his international clients in several areas such as Asset Protection Trusts and sophisticated tax strategies. His practice includes extensive work with corporations to design and implement retirement planning including 401(k), ESOPs, Profit Sharing Plans and Defined Benefit Plans. Sam also assists clients with their lending needs, in particular with equity based lending. Additionally, he does a great deal of work with insurance, including life insurance, disability insurance, and long term care insurance. Sam takes a full-service approach to working with his clients through the use of wealth management planning and estate planning, and works closely with many Trust and Estate Attorneys. 
Sam’s team has distinguished themselves by assisting clients with unique services related to Art as an investment. For example, Sam and his team have hosted a number of Art Forums featuring some of the industry’s most prominent experts. He and his team work with some of the nation’s top museums, auction houses and galleries to provide forums and events for his clients that highlight distinguished art experts. Some of the more notable museums, galleries, and auction houses they have worked with include: The Museum of Modern Art (MOMA), the Beyeler Museum (Basel Switzerland), the Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA in Chicago), as well as top auction houses including Sotheby’s, Christies and Bonhams. He is also involved with events at the Art Basel Fairs, Scope Fair, and the Armory Show. 
Prior to joining RBC, Sam worked for 10 years at UBS. Additionally, he worked at Northwestern Mutual for five years. Sam resides in New Jersey with his wife and three children.

Jesus Medina

Jesus joined RBC Wealth Management and began working with the team in April of 2018. Prior to joining the FM Investment Group, Jesus was a branch supervisor at TD Bank in New York City. He is currently the initial point of contact for clients, answering questions regarding their accounts and portfolios. He also works with his group coordinating a series of art and culture events that take place in the Art Basel Miami art fair and an Annual Investment Conference for clients featuring well known economic professionals with valuable perspectives on global topics.


Jesus grew up in Lima, Peru, where he attended Law School at the University of Lima and also gained retail banking experience by working at two major banks in the city.

Touba Alipour

Touba joined the FM investment group in June of 2019 and is using her experiential marketing knowledge and background to coordinate the group’s events and client experience. In addition, she is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the financial advisors to maintain and build new client relationships. 

Touba is a New York City based artist and designer. She was born and raised in Iran. She holds a bachelor’s degree in interior design from American University in Dubai – where she was living at the time. She then continued her academic journey by pursuing her master’s degree in exhibition and experienced design at Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. After working in the industry for some time, she decided to expand her sets of skills and techniques by learning sculpture at National Academy Museum which led her into the Art World.
