Seminars and Events
Art Events Sponsored By Our Group Arts Practice/Client Entertainment: A unique aspect of our practice is the Art Events that we host for our clients. The main areas of the arts we specialize in are as follows:
Visual Arts — includes such events as Art Basel, museum and gallery events, art forums, dinners with artists, and more.
Theater — Our theater events include previews of the top new shows from a panel of actors, producers, directors, and more. We also do private shows with Actors Equity followed by a meet & greet with cast members.
Fashion — Our group has sponsored unique fashion events with some of the top designers. For example, we have sponsored fashion shows and given clients private tours of designers’ shows. We have also sponsored unique fashion dinners.
Film – Through our group connection with the NY Film Society at Lincoln Center, we are allowed an opportunity to take clients to premiums, galas, private dinners and more.
Here are a few of the events The FM Group has been proud to host:

The space has been entirely renovated by renowned designer Adam Tihany, using the restaurants striking neo-classical architecture as a back drop for elegant new finishes and furnishings, harmoniously uniting old and new.
Art Basel FL – Versace Mansion (December 1, 2010)
Cocktail Party/Dinner at the Versace Mansion
This is Ocean Drive’s most infamous residence. In 1992—as the Art Deco preservationists worked to clean up a hardscrabble beach area Italian fashion designer Gianni Versace visited South Beach, saw the home, and fell in love with it. He lovingly restored the home to its original glory and brought international celebrities to party there. (Think Madonna and Elton John). The home was bought in 2000 by a telecommunications mogul, and has since been turned into a private, members-only party mansion. This may be why some tourists linger near the front gate —hoping to catch a glimpse of a star or two.
Fashion Show Week NY – French Embassy (September 15, 2009)
Dinner and Art/Fashion Panel Discussion
This was a very beautiful classic event. The building is the former home of the famous Whitney family. The evening started with an elegant champagne reception downstairs in the all marble ballroom. The dinner followed in the main reception room located upstairs. The theme of the evening was “How art influences fashion and how fashion influences art." For this discussion, we assembled a top panel of art & fashion experts. For example, some of the more prominent people on the panel were Gilles Bensimon, Gilles Mendel, Diane Picasso (Picasso’s grand daughter), Didi Pei (I.M. Pei’s son), William Ivey Long etc. The discussion was very spirited and interesting for all. Also, the dinner was the biggest ever to be held at the Embassy.
