I joined RBC Wealth Management in April of 2017 after more than 16 years in the industrial coatings business. This included an extensive background in sales and operational management, which provided me with a foundation of understanding business structures, acquisitions, and profitability analysis. While I am originally from Eugene, I spent a good portion of my career out in the field serving clients across the United States, Canada, China and Europe. This offered me the unique experience of helping people from various cultural, social and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Throughout my career I have focused on building relationships to develop long-term partnerships. My personal vision as a wealth advisor is to be recognized as authentic, honest, and creative in helping clients plan for their financial objectives. This philosophy includes pairing personal analysis with the latest planning tools RBC has to offer.
Personal
I graduated from Boston College in 2000, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. I returned to the West Coast following graduation to be closer to family and begin my career. While living in Portland for a number of years, I met my wife, Jill. She and I moved back to Eugene in 2014 and welcomed our first child, Grace, in the fall of 2016. We enjoy traveling, cooking and fitness.
In addition to my personal hobbies I also believe it is important to be active in the community. I served as co-chair for the 2016 Marist High School Auction, and have been involved with coaching youth basketball since 2000.
Much like a diversified investment portfolio, I believe that a well-balanced life between work, family and values is the key to success and stability.
