With 24 years of experience in the financial services industry, I joined RBC Wealth Management in 2016. I am a member of the Institutional Consulting Group for RBC Wealth Management out of the Glastonbury office, and has comprehensive knowledge of the corporate regulatory and legislative environment, which I incorporate into my investment strategies.
I specialize in corporate retirement plans and endowment and pension consulting. I advise private and public companies in creating a written investment policy statement, investment selection and ongoing monitoring along with delivering on-going customized education and advising individual employees.
I am active within my community, serving on the board of directors for several organizations, including the Business for Downtown Hartford, Riverfront Recapture and the Mandell Greater Hartford Jewish Community Center and previously served as the treasurer and a deacon at Asylum Hill Congregational Church. I serve as treasurer for the Mandell GHJCC and chairman for the Big Mo’, the largest annual fundraiser for Riverfront Recapture. I am also a member of the Estate and Business Planning Council of Hartford.
In 2012, I took a leave of absence from work to run for U.S. Congress in the First Congressional District of Connecticut, and although I did not win, I found the experience to be humbling and enriching.
