Qualifications
John has been a Financial Consultant for the past 25 years. He was with UBS prior to joining RBC Wealth Management in April 2009. Previously, John worked at Shawmut Bank as an Assistant Vice President, where he focused on commercial lending. He is a graduate of Trinity College with a Bachelor’s Degree in political science. John is licensed in Series 7, 63, and 65 as well as life insurance and annuities.
Awards & achievements:
John is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner. The CFP is an investment industry professional designation awarded to financial professionals who have met the requirements and passed the exams set by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. One of the requirements of the CFP is the successful completion of an accredited program. John earned a certificate in financial planning from Boston University. Courses of study included investments, insurance, retirement programs, and estate planning.
Personal
John resides in Hingham with his wife Maia, and their three sons, Eric, Nicholas and Jack. He’s a classic Boston sports fan, passionate and devoted. Outside of work, John enjoys golf, basketball and spending time with his family.
