Lora began her career in the financial services industry in 1990 with Piper, Jaffray and Hopwood in Kansas City, Missouri. After moving to the Northwest in 1991, Lora continued her career with Piper Jaffray, ultimately becoming Series 7, 9, 10, 63, and 65 licensed—and in due course, became part of the Piper Jaffray Management team in Portland, Oregon, in 1998. When UBS bought Piper Jaffray in 2006, Lora felt it was time for an early retirement and decided to relocate to Arkansas. However, after seven months, Lora missed the Northwest and returned home in October 2007, at which time she secured a position with RBC Dain Rauscher in November 2007. Lora provides detail-oriented administrative service to clients, exudes a positive attitude, and with her depth of knowledge and experience in the industry, is an invaluable addition to the branch and to the financial advisors with whom she works. Lora’s positive attitude, breadth of industry knowledge and attention to detail earned Lora RBC’s coveted Award of Excellence in 2013.
Lora is newly married and keeps quite busy outside of work. Lora has six adult children, four of which live in the Northwest. She has eight grandchildren, which are the light of her life. Lora is an afficionado of the classic movie genre; and loves combing the beaches of our Pacific Northwest.
