Who’s your trusted contact?
Do you have a trusted contact person on file with your financial advisor? Here’s some information about it:
• What is a trusted contact person? An individual you identify as a resource for your financial advisor if you’re unreachable.
• How do you establish one? You fill out a simple form that names the person and provides their contact information.
• What can the person access? The person is not authorized on your accounts and may not make any transactions.
• What can your financial advisor share? Only concerns about your account activity. They may not provide account balances or trades with your named contact. They may explain concern about you based on recent withdrawal activity and ask about your wellbeing or whereabouts.
