Kurt specializes in retirement planning focusing on portfolio growth and income generation for clients through tailored advice and options strategies. He is also skilled at supplementing portfolios with cash flow strategies to maximize the potential of his clients’ investments.
Kurt began his investing career in 1983 with Advest Incorporated as a senior vice president, where he built his business until Advest was acquired by Merrill Lynch in 2005. He remained with Merrill Lynch until 2015, when he joined RBC Wealth Management. Kurt has passed the Series 6, 7, 8, 63 and 65 securities exams.
He graduated from IUP in Indiana, Pennsylvania, in 1982, where he double-majored in finance and personnel management. Kurt is a long-time resident of the South Hills, where he has been heavily involved in the Big Brothers, Big Sisters foundation, as well as being a mentor for The Family Guidance youth mentoring program. Outside of the office and his philanthropic obligations, Kurt loves all things sports. He also is a fan of warm weather and enjoys frequenting the southern states during the winter.
