Tim began his career as a financial advisor at Dain Rauscher in April 2000. Shortly after joining Dain Rauscher, RBC purchased the firm which now has become known as RBC Wealth Management – U.S. After spending the first 11 years of his career in the Shoreview, Minnesota, office of RBC Wealth Management, Tim transitioned to the Stillwater, Minnesota, office to partner with another colleague. It was during this time Tim came to understand the clear benefits of working in a collaborative team environment to serve customers. Lift Bridge Wealth Management Group was formed to bring financial advisors with similar values together and leverage the experience of a collective group in serving the best interests of customers. Now, after nearly 25 years with RBC Wealth Management, Tim continues to build upon the foundation of offering customers experience-based financial advice.

Tim is a senior portfolio manager in the RBC Wealth Management Portfolio Focus program, a discretionary asset management program that allows him to build customized portfolios based on individual client need. He is also an advocate for client education and complete transparency during the consultative wealth management experience. Tim earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Minnesota – Duluth. Tim is licensed in investment securities and life insurance.

Tim and his wife, Joleyn, currently live in White Bear Lake, Minnesota, and have one adult daughter. In his free time, Tim enjoys spending time with his family and friends, a challenging round of golf, visiting new places, remodeling things, experimenting with his barbecue smoker and relaxing on a pontoon boat in Wisconsin.
