Prior to joining RBC Wealth Management, Lisa served affluent clients for 19 years with the Private Bank, Bank of America, where she held the positions of senior vice president and senior private client advisor. Her portfolio of assets under management during this tenure was valued at $1.6 billion.
Lisa’s financial advisory career commenced with co-owning and operating an E&S brokerage firm (excess and surplus insurance) in Minneapolis. She also co‑developed a captive insurance company and collaborated with the Minnesota Bankers Association.
Lisa graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of North Dakota with a Bachelor of Science in business administration. She further enhanced her expertise by obtaining certification in investment strategy and portfolio management from the Wharton School of Business.
As a board member of the San Diego Symphony for the past nine years, Lisa currently holds positions on the executive committee, the nominating and governance committee, the institutional advancement committee and the strategic planning committee. Additionally, she chairs the Planned Giving Advisory Council, which provides tax-aware legacy guidance for intricate philanthropic strategies.
Lisa and her husband, Jim, enjoy beach living in South Carlsbad, California.
