Maxwell’s passion for wealth management stems from multiple interconnected motivations. As a lifelong learner, he finds endless fascination in uncovering the intricate domino effects within the global economy and helping clients invest and plan accordingly—a pursuit that keeps him both learning and teaching daily. Beyond the analytical aspects, he deeply values creating lifelong relationships with clients that often transcend business boundaries—many become close friends who feel like family. His vision is distinctly generational from two perspectives: externally, he aims to build trusted relationships with potentially three or more generations of a family’s wealth; internally, he strives to build a business worthy of becoming generational itself.
He currently serves as a senior vice president – financial advisor at RBC Wealth Management. Previously, he was vice president and wealth manager at Lido Advisors. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in natural resources management from Texas Tech University and passed the SIE, Series 7, 63 and 65 exams.
On the personal front, he shares his life with his wife, Brooks, a second-grade teacher. Together they enjoy the companionship of two incredible Labrador retrievers—Nala, an 8-year-old yellow Lab, and Nellie, a 4-year-old black Lab—who accompany them everywhere and are both fantastic bird dogs. These loyal companions have been formative influences, embodying the values of loyalty, tireless work ethic and steadfast companionship through life’s ups and downs that Maxwell brings to his business. His personal interests include fly fishing and fly tying, bird hunting, dog training, golf, snowboarding, world travel and reading. He and Brooks are also deeply passionate about their faith and remain extremely active in deepening it while loving the people around them as well as they can.
