Qualifications
I have been in the financial services industry for over thirty years. After I graduated from Western Illinois University, I began my career selling life and health insurance for one of the major insurance carriers. Following that, I spent a number of years involved in trading bond futures at the Chicago Board of Trade. In 1988, I started my current career as a financial consultant and have never regretted leaving the futures industry. In addition to my insurance license, I have the Series 7, 63 and 65 licenses.
Personal
I was raised on the northwest side of Chicago. Since 1988, I have lived in the western suburb of Glen Ellyn with my wife Margaret and our two daughters, Theresa and Megan. I am an active member of my parish community as well as a volunteer at the Day Break Center of Catholic Charities in Joliet. Some of my time is also spent volunteering with the Dupage PADS, who supply food and housing to the homeless. My other interests outside of work include golfing, traveling, training for and running marathons and spending time with my family.
