Qualifications and professional history
He started his career in 1995 at LFG, LLC as a foreign exchange dealer. After a four-year stint at LFG, he joined GFX Corporation (a subsidiary of the CME) as a senior foreign trader, making markets and trading in all the G-7 currencies with major worldwide banks, hedge funds and retail clients. Having traded the world’s largest transacted market (Foreign Exchange) for more than a decade, Sandeep has an excellent understanding of global stock markets, interest rates, foreign exchange rates, commodities, and fundamental and technical analysis. After leaving the CME, he engaged in investment advising for client portfolios at Stat Trade Inc., a private entrepreneurial venture. Sandeep utilizes his market expertise coupled with RBC’s brand equity and wealth management tools to provide an enriching experience for clients.
Education background
Sandeep has passed the Series 7, 63 and 65 security exams, and has also acquired the Illinois life and accident/health insurance licenses. He is an active member of several financial networks, including the Financial Executives Networking Group (FENG), the Wheaton Executive Networking Group (WENG), and the American Association of Individual Investors.
He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology in Manipal, India, and has an MBA/Master of Science degree in financial markets from Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago.
Personal
Sandeep was born and raised in India. He enjoys traveling internationally and has visited numerous countries. He has been a resident of Chicago for the last 27 years, where he lives with his wife and daughter. Apart from being an avid gym fanatic, racquetball player and swimmer, Sandeep is also a big soccer and tennis fan, and a science fiction movie enthusiast.
