Vice President - Financial Advisor
The key to my investment philosophy is income. I believe in a balanced approach in building a portfolio. The fixed income component can be allocated to certificates of deposit, corporate bonds, or tax-free municipal bonds. The growth component is placed in quality blue chip dividend growth stocks of both U.S. and global companies. I believe companies that generate free cash flow after all expenses are in the best position to expand their business and increase their dividends. This portfolio construction permits clients to receive a steady flow of income and the potential for capital growth to keep up with today’s ever increasing expenses. In addition to providing balanced investment portfolios, I specialize in IRAs, retirement plans, gifting strategies, and financial plans.
Sharply rising interest rates in recent years have boosted bond yields, shifting the investment calculus for portfolios that combine equity and fixed income holdings. With yields approaching or exceeding the return targets in many wealth plans, we think fixed income should play a bigger role in balanced portfolios.
