Scott Rose is a Senior Vice President- Financial Advisor, and Senior Portfolio Manager-Portfolio Focus at RBC Wealth Management. With two decades of experience guiding high and ultra-high net worth individuals and families, he primarily focuses on providing wealth and portfolio management services. He takes a conservative approach with his clients, emphasizes wealth preservation, tax efficiency, and liquidity.
Scott manages his clients’ assets to offer the personalized style of a family office while giving clients access to opportunities that only a global investment company can provide. He has a strong understanding of the complex and sophisticated financial needs that often accompanies great wealth and is able to translate these in a simplistic manner that earns his clients’ trust. Scott leverages RBC’s vast array of products and resources to provide a comprehensive approach, assisting clients with trust and estate capabilities, philanthropy, cash management, asset management, and fixed income services. He also assists clients with strategies related to credit, lending and mortgages that often include tailored borrowing ideas.
Scott has devoted his entire career to wealth management, beginning with a focus on fixed income and municipal bonds, and later, broadening his capabilities to provide the full breadth of investment management services. Prior to joining RBC, Scott was a Financial Advisor at JP Morgan, and before that, UBS and Smith Barney.
Scott graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a B.A. degree from the College of Behavior and Social Sciences. He serves on the Board of Trustees for a Charity named Tikva Children’s Home.
Scott lives in Livingston, New Jersey with his wife and two children. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, tennis, golf, and spending time with his family.
