Since 1994, Mark has served the needs of individual and institutional clients whose high level of complexity requires sophisticated solutions, including private foundations, corporations and Superfund sites. He assists clients in assigning responsibilities and collaborating with business managers, accountants and attorneys.
Prior to joining RBC Wealth Management in 2008, Mark worked as a financial advisor at well-known firms, such as Wachovia (formerly A.G. Edwards & Sons), Wells Fargo Private Client Services and Oppenheimer & Co. Mark has been honored with the prestigious Chairman’s Council award at RBC Wealth Management since 2009.
After receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from University of California, Los Angeles, Mark earned an MBA from the USC Marshall School of Business with an emphasis in finance. Additionally, Mark is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® designation, making him well-positioned to advise clients and prudently manage investment decisions.
Originally from Pennsylvania, Mark grew up in Beverly Hills, California, and maintains residences in Santa Monica and Scottsdale with his wife, Patricia, and their sons, Samuel and Michael. Mark is involved with several charities, including the Phoenix Dream Center (which is home to recovering sex traffic victims) and Mothers Against Drunk Drivers (MADD). He volunteers for the Arizona Rangers (a 501(3)(c) law enforcement auxiliary organization), as a first responder and a Community Emergency Response Training participant. Mark is also an amateur radio operator, a USA Archery Level 4 NTS Coach, and he holds a commercial helicopter pilot rating and a private pilot rating for airplanes.
