Mark splits his time between his office in Los Angeles, California, and Scottsdale, Arizona. Since 1994, he has served the needs of high-net-worth families and institutional clients, whose high level of complexity requires sophisticated solutions.

Mark provides the personal touch of a trusted family-office-style advisor. For institutional clients, such as Superfund sites, private foundations and corporations, he also assists in creating and monitoring an Investment Policy Statement (IPS), assigning fiduciary responsibilities and collaborating with business managers, CPAs and attorneys.

Prior to joining RBC Wealth Management in 2008, Mark worked as a financial advisor at well-known firms such as Wachovia (formerly A.G. Edwards & Sons), Wells Fargo Private Client Services, and Oppenheimer & Co. Mark has been honored with the prestigious Chairman’s Council award at RBC Wealth Management continually since 2009.

After receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles, Mark went on to earn his MBA from the USC Marshall School of Business with an emphasis in finance. Additionally, Mark is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) practitioner and a Certified Investment Management Consultant (CIMC®). He also earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) designation. AIF designees are well-positioned to advise fiduciaries on the legal standards required to prudently manage investment decisions and conduct comprehensive fiduciary assessments.

Originally from Pennsylvania, Mark grew up in Beverly Hills, California, and continues to live in the area with his wife, Patricia, and their sons, Samuel and Michael. He is involved with several charities including the Jewish Vocational Services, Ocean Park Community Center (OPCC), and Tower Cancer Research Foundation. He is a first responder and an amateur radio operator for the Los Angeles Fire Department and participates in Community Emergency Response Training. Mark also enjoys giving archery lessons.

Reva is based in Los Angeles, California. Her strategies for growing and protecting wealth have been featured on CNBC, Fox News, Fox Business Network, Marie Claire, On Wall Street, Los Angeles Business Journal, as well as other business media.

Reva brings the distinction of having an extensive background in finance and economics. Since 1997, she has managed equity and fixed income portfolios for high-net-worth investors, corporate executives and owners of middle market companies. Before joining RBC Wealth Management in 2009, she worked at some of the largest, most prestigious firms on Wall Street, including Lehman Brothers/ Neuberger Berman, Bank of America, and Sanford C. Bernstein & Co.

A graduate of the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Science degree, cum laude, in business administration, Reva earned her MBA in finance from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst® and a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society Los Angeles. The CFA charter is the highest global distinction in the investment management field, measuring the competence and integrity of financial analysts and portfolio managers.

Reva lives in Manhattan Beach, California, and is on the UCLA Anderson Alumni Board of Directors, on which she represents her graduating class as alumni class president. She is on the Board of Directors and Finance Committee for Wayfinder Family Services, formerly known as the Junior Blind of America. She is also a member of the Beverly Hills Estate Planning Council, which collaborates on progressive estate planning techniques.

Rea Mayer, CRPS®

Rea is a financial advisor based in Phoenix, Arizona. She provides relationshipbased, personalized advice and is very skilled at helping clients understand the big picture. Rea collaborates with other professional advisors, such as CPAs and estate planning attorneys, to solve the complex financial needs of high-net-worth investors in Phoenix, Scottsdale, and the East Valley.

Rea joined RBC Wealth Management in 2013 as associate vice president, administrative complex manager for the Southern California Complex. In this role, she collaborated with the Complex Management Team in addition to training, overseeing, and mentoring more than 65 branch service managers and client associates in Southern California. She also played a pivotal role in recruiting and onboarding financial advisor teams from competing firms. Rea started her career as a client service associate and paraplanner with Ameriprise Financial. She was also a registered associate at Smith Barney and UBS Financial Services. Immediately prior to joining RBC Wealth Management, she was associate director, complex administrative manager at UBS, where she focused on talent management, supervision, and operations.

Rea has a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering and a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles. She is also a Chartered Retirement Plan SpecialistSM (CRPS®).

Rea resides in Chandler, Arizona, with her husband, Keith, her daughter, Sophia, and her twin sons, Liam and Jameson. She serves on the board of directors for the Planned Giving Round Table of Arizona and is a member of the Central Arizona Estate Planning Council. Rea is committed to supporting her local community and is involved with the Desert Botanical Garden, Arizona Foundation for Women, ICAN, and Girl Scouts.

Gabriela Rubio

Gaby is based in Los Angeles, California. She is an experienced bond trader and is responsible for performance reporting, syndicate operations (IPOs), trade execution and operations.

Gaby joined RBC Wealth Management in 2010. Previously, she was employed by JP Morgan Chase (formerly Washington Mutual), where she provided operational support to 20 financial advisors in the Northwest region. Gaby also worked as a client associate at LPL Financial. A graduate of California State University, Long Beach, Gaby has a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration-finance, real estate and law with an emphasis in financial management.

She was born and raised in Southern California and lives in the Long Beach area with her husband, Anthony. She enjoys CrossFit, reading, cooking and rooting for her favorite team, the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Chelsea Traub

Investment Associate


Chelsea is an investment associate based in Los Angeles, California. She is responsible for financial planning, research and managing credit solutions.

Before joining RBC Wealth Management in 2019, Chelsea was a client associate at JP Morgan Securities, providing administrative and operational support for high-net-worth clients. She began her career in wealth management at the JP Morgan Private Bank in New York, New York, where she was part of the ultra-high-net-worth financial institutions group. In this role, she supported multiple banking teams in servicing hedge fund founders, enhancing the day-to-day management of their finances by providing essential services to ensure their wealth planning kept pace with their financial success.

Chelsea is a graduate of Iona College with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in finance and was recognized on the dean’s list in 2008. She was a member of the finance club from 2008 to 2010. Immediately after college, she was a legal assistant at a law firm focused on real estate litigation.

A native of Westchester, New York, Chelsea now lives in West Hollywood, California. She is on the advisory committee for Empowers Africa Foundation, which provides support programs in the areas of human empowerment, wildlife protection and land conservation in sub-Saharan Africa.
