Seamus specializes in retirement planning, investment strategy and investment selection, including evaluating active and passive management solutions. As a part of the group, he also works directly with clients to design solutions for their cash flow, tax, estate and legacy planning needs.
Seamus attained his MBA in 2004 from the University of Maryland and his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration-finance from the University of Delaware in 1997. He also received his Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) designation in 2010. Prior to joining RBC Wealth Management, Seamus worked in a number of firms within the financial services industry over the past 13 years, including Lehman Brother’s Private Investment Management Group and Neuberger Berman. In his time in the industry, he has provided advice to clients through periods of great volatility and fear, including the 2008 financial crisis as well as through record high equity markets. He is committed to helping clients succeed in meeting their financial goals regardless of external conditions.
Seamus resides in Connecticut with his wife, Karyn, and three daughters, Zoe, Halle, and Kyra. Outside of work, he enjoys coaching, golfing, and skiing. A lifelong Boston Red Sox fan, his love for his team is met with disapproval from the rest of the group.
