As the senior financial advisor of S.T.A.R. Wealth Solutions, Shari has worked extensively with clients to meet their financial goals, whether that means retirement, legacy planning, estate planning, or asset protection. As a divorcee and widow herself, one of her specialties is aiding women facing these monumental changes in their lives and helping them adapt to changes in income, needs and lifestyle to secure their financial future. Alongside the rest of the group, she works with clients to develop adaptable plans and solutions, touching upon everything from equities to insurance to best suit their needs.

Shari attained her MBA from Pace University and has an undergraduate degree in nursing from the University of Michigan. With more than 35 years of experience in the financial services industry, she has helped clients succeed through financial crises and market downturns alongside bull markets and record highs. This wealth of experience helps guide her decision making process and allows her to draw upon a significant body of knowledge to address the complex issues facing investors today. Shari also has a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst™ (CDFA™) designation, which she uses to assist clients during the divorce process though no legal or mediation advice may be provided.

Shari is an avid cook and traveler, having been everywhere from China to the Galapagos Islands. She supports many charities through her donor advised fund and with her time. She is on the advisory board for the Bellevue-NYU Program for Survivors of Torture and works with a number of organizations in South Sudan that do work ranging from building wheelchairs for polio survivors to educating women.

Shari is married and resides in South Salem, New York, with her husband, Fred, and English Bulldog, Diva, the master of the house.

Seamus specializes in retirement planning, investment strategy and investment selection, including evaluating active and passive management solutions. As a part of the group, he also works directly with clients to design solutions for their cash flow, tax, estate and legacy planning needs.

Seamus attained his MBA in 2004 from the University of Maryland and his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration-finance from the University of Delaware in 1997. He also received his Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) designation in 2010. Prior to joining RBC Wealth Management, Seamus worked in a number of firms within the financial services industry over the past 13 years, including Lehman Brother’s Private Investment Management Group and Neuberger Berman. In his time in the industry, he has provided advice to clients through periods of great volatility and fear, including the 2008 financial crisis as well as through record high equity markets. He is committed to helping clients succeed in meeting their financial goals regardless of external conditions.

Seamus resides in Connecticut with his wife, Karyn, and three daughters, Zoe, Halle, and Kyra. Outside of work, he enjoys coaching, golfing, and skiing. A lifelong Boston Red Sox fan, his love for his team is met with disapproval from the rest of the group.

Hamilton is in charge of most of the team’s operational and administrative functions. He works with clients to meet their day-to-day needs, including cash management, manager implementation, trading and account opening.

Hamilton graduated from Wesleyan University in 2011 with a degree in East Asian studies. Prior to joining RBC Wealth Management, he worked at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management and at a law firm in Beijing. He is experienced with working with clients with many different goals and needs.

Born and raised in New York City, Hamilton loves cooking, sampling the city’s varied cuisine, and playing the piano. He is the team’s resident restaurant critic and sushi connoisseur.
