Kevin has been a Financial Advisor since 1991 when he started with Piper Jaffray & Hopwood. He received his Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA) from the University of North Dakota in 1990, before earning his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Notre Dame in 2004.
Professional Designation
Kevin earned the right to use the prestigious Charter Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in September, 2000. To become a CFA charter holder, he completed three years of industry study and passed three very rigorous exams showing proficiency in Ethics, Quantitative Methods, Economics, Financial Reporting and Analysis, Securities Analysis, and Portfolio Management. Less than 1% of Financial Advisors have earned their CFA charter.
Personal
Kevin lives in Inver Grove Heights, MN with his wife, Sarah, and their three children, Alexa, Abby, and Charlie. Alexa is a junior at the University of Notre Dame, where she is studying Business IT. Abby is a sophomore at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire, where she is studying Elementary Education and Special Education. Charlie is a senior at Rosemount High School and plays football and hockey. Sarah is a special education teacher at Rosemount High School.
Kevin has enjoyed coaching and managing traveling baseball, football, and traveling hockey teams in the Rosemount Area Athletic Association, and the Rosemount Area Hockey Association. He has found great satisfaction sharing his knowledge and passion for the sports that have meant so much to him. Kevin is active in playing softball, golf and hockey, as well as hunting, fishing or just enjoying the outdoors.
