Directly out of college Sam jumped into the financial industry by joining RBC Wealth Management in 2002. Sam’s first role at RBC was that of a client associate assisting two producing financial advisors. Sam’s longer term objectives however were set more on the managerial side of the business.
In 2008, when RBC senior management decided to locate their Central New York complex office to Syracuse, Sam immediately accepted the role of Complex Operations Associate. Shortly after, Sam was promoted to Administrative Complex Manager. In this role Sam was collaborating and assisting in the work processes of approximately 35 employees and 45 Financial Advisors.
In 2012, with the decision of RBC to move their complex office to Rochester, NY and Sam’s desire to remain in Syracuse, Sam accepted the role of Branch Service Manager of Syracuse branch. Sam’s current goal is to the help drive revenue growth at the branch level, support recruiting the top class financial advisors in the area and to promote a culture of best practice among all of his colleagues.
Sam has earned BA with a Major in Business Administration from Hartwick College. He has passed the following exams: Series 7, 63, 65, 9 & 10.
Sam resides in Manlius, NY with his wife, Heather and two children, Ben and Charlie.
