I assist affluent families and individuals as well as foundations and endowments in achieving their financial goals by creating and implementing comprehensive wealth management strategies.
I am an experienced professional having spent 27 years as a financial advisor, the last 17 with RBC Wealth Management. I am a member of the President’s Council at RBC Wealth Management, indicating that I consistently perform in the top 20 percent of advisors at the firm. This is an honor attesting to the high quality relationships that I have developed with my clients. I earned the firm’s internal designation of Accredited Wealth Manager (AWM) through an education program sponsored by RBC Wealth Management and Michigan State University. This program is designed to provide financial advisors with cutting-edge strategies and training on the firm’s wealth management process. I am an active participant in the continuing educational opportunities that my firm provides, to ensure that I remain current in my field. I am Series 7, 63 and 65 registered as well as being licensed for insurance sales in the State of California.
In 2006, I received the Dick McFarland Award, which distinguished me as the RBC Wealth Management corporation-wide Volunteer of the Year. This award recognizes my ongoing and active involvement with InnVision...The Way Home, as well as Rotary. InnVision is considered by many the model organization in the U.S. for providing services to homeless individuals and families. I am a director on the Board of Quanta Laboratories, Inc. and have served as a director on numerous nonprofit boards. I live in Morgan Hill with my wife, Joanne, and several critters. Our daughter, Kylee, is a graduate of Santa Clara University School of Law and practices law in Foster City, CA. I enjoy equestrian activities, and own and show Quarter and Tennessee Walking Horses, as well as reading, swimming, scuba, golf and classical music.
