The time Curt spent as a Navigator in the US Navy, followed by his career as a school teacher, has given him the unique capacity to establish, review and maintain a well directed RBC wealth management plan, as well as educate and communicate effectively with his clients. Curt began his career with Dean Witter Reynolds in 1985. He soon attained the title of Senior Vice President and was invited to present his strategies as guest lecturer on a variety of areas, such as Asset Allocation Strategies, Professional Money Management, Modern Portfolio Theory and Estate Planning. His appearances ranged from The World Trade Center and Morgan Stanley headquarters in New York, to Colorado Springs, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Scottsdale and Honolulu.
Curt’s college degree and post graduate titles and certifications include: Bachelor of Arts in Education and has passed the Series 3, 7, 63 and 65 exams. While at Morgan Stanley, he attended and completed certification from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania for both the Account Executive program in 1996 and the Wharton Advanced Financial Advisor program in 2000. In addition, Curt completed the advanced money management for high net worth investors, receiving the designation of Wealth Advisor for Morgan Stanley in New York in 2003, and the certification for the Estate Planning Consultant Program at The American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania in 2005. He is currently a member of the Chairman's Council, RBC Wealth Management Private Client Group's most prestigious recognition program, and resides with his wife Julie between their homes in Bend Oregon and Rancho Mirage California.
