The time Curt spent as a Navigator in the US Navy, followed by his career as a school teacher, has given him the unique capacity to establish, review and maintain a well directed RBC wealth management plan, as well as educate and communicate effectively with his clients. Curt began his career with Dean Witter Reynolds in 1985. He soon attained the title of Senior Vice President and was invited to present his strategies as guest lecturer on a variety of areas, such as Asset Allocation Strategies, Professional Money Management, Modern Portfolio Theory and Estate Planning. His appearances ranged from The World Trade Center and Morgan Stanley headquarters in New York, to Colorado Springs, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Scottsdale and Honolulu.

Curt’s college degree and post graduate titles and certifications include: Bachelor of Arts in Education and has passed the Series 3, 7, 63 and 65 exams. While at Morgan Stanley, he attended and completed certification from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania for both the Account Executive program in 1996 and the Wharton Advanced Financial Advisor program in 2000. In addition, Curt completed the advanced money management for high net worth investors, receiving the designation of Wealth Advisor for Morgan Stanley in New York in 2003, and the certification for the Estate Planning Consultant Program at The American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania in 2005. He is currently a member of the Chairman's Council, RBC Wealth Management Private Client Group's most prestigious recognition program, and resides with his wife Julie between their homes in Bend Oregon and Rancho Mirage California.

Curt and the Faulkner Wealth Management Group have, in conjunction with RBC Wealth Management, developed innovative plans that are adapted and in synch with today’s ever changing economy. After over twenty seven years in the financial services industry, they are remarkably qualified in providing their clients and their families with productive, efficient, and understandable money management.

Liz has been working in the financial services industry in Bend since 1990. In the various roles she has held, Liz established high service standards for herself and the teams she worked with. Liz joined RBC Wealth Management with Curt in 2009 after working at Morgan Stanley for 18 years. Prior to moving to Bend, she lived and worked in the Seattle area. She holds her Series 7 license and a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from California State University — Hayward.

Liz is the past president and a member of the Network of Entrepreneurial Woman, and supporter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Organization, AARP, PFLAG, and Human Dignity Coalition.

Rachael Cannady

Rachael has been working at RBC Wealth Management since 2015. Her focus here at RBC has been on administrative functions and client service. Rachael has a proven track record of outstanding client service. She previously worked for an attorney's office in Columbia, South Carolina, her home state, where she focused on real estate transactions, providing her with a range of financial knowledge. She received a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from The University of South Carolina.


Though raised in South Carolina Rachael enjoys the lifestyle of the Pacific Northwest, which she now has this privilege to call home.
