With an extensive background in advanced education, Pam brings an educator’s perspective to the financial industry. She is able to better understand clients and teach them about financial concepts. As part of RBC Wealth Management, her job is not just to invest your money, but understand your priorities, including helping you understand the market, managing your portfolio, and planning for the future you want.
Pam started in the financial industry in 2011 at RBC Wealth Management with the Harbison Investment Group. After working with special needs children for 20 years, Pam brings a different, but necessary skill set to the industry. She connects with families through their life transitions and provides financial information with an educational approach as needed. Pam helps clients better understand the market and investment vehicles that may best fit their individual needs.
Pam graduated from Gettysburg College with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and elementary education. She followed with a master’s degree in special education from Temple University. Pam has passed the Series 7 and 66 exams, and holds multiple state insurance licenses. A large part of Pam’s career in special education involved educating parents about their children’s diagnosis and counseling families about living with special needs. Pam also developed and coordinated programs that are still in existence, and this expertise with program management, coupled with a background in education, is extremely valuable.
In her free time, Pam spends time with her two children, and her grandson, reading and gardening. She enjoys working for RBC Wealth Management, especially all the client relationships that continue to develop.
