November Financial Tip of the Month

What are the new Trump Accounts?

Babies born between 2025 and 2028 could receive $1,000 from the US Government into a “trump” investment account. This money can be invested but cannot be liquidated until the child is 18 or older and will be taxed upon withdrawal. Parents and others can add up to $5,000 per year as well. This money also cannot be touched until the age of 18, but only the gains will be taxed. Rules are still being formulated. The accounts go live in July 2026.

You can reach out to us if you have any questions about your options.
