After growing up in the Boston area, Phil started his college education at the University of Maine. He later transferred to the University of New Mexico where he graduated in 1993 with a bachelor’s degree in economics. Phil strives to earn clients’ trust by providing quality planning and thoughtful advice. He designs wealth plans and implements investments based on client’s goals.
Phil started his career in the financial services industry in 1994, working in insurance and securities with New England Financial Group. He later worked for Wells Fargo Bank before taking a wealth management position with Smith Barney. Phil joined RBC Wealth Management in 2009. He earned the Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor and Accredited Wealth Manager designations and passed the Series 7, 65 and 66 exams.
Outside of the office, Phil is involved with ARCA, serving as the foundation treasurer, a board member and on the finance committee. Phil is the past congregational president for Faith Lutheran Church and is now the finance chairperson. Phil is married to Karen, a teacher. His daughter Abigail is a chemist and son Cameron is an officer in the United States Marine Corps. Phil enjoys skiing, playing golf (he earned his first hole in one in 2022) and is a retired recreational hockey player.
