Ira has been a licensed and registered financial advisor for 24 years, and is supported by experienced associates who handle client administrative needs. He was previously registered with Morgan Stanley, UBS Financial Services, and Smith Barney. Ira focuses primarily on the fixed income marketplace and wealth preservation strategies. He specializes in high credit quality municipal and corporate bonds, government agencies, and short term cash alternatives such as treasuries, agencies, and money market funds. Ira manages over $1.5 billion in assets and fosters a conservative wealth management plan to help meet client needs and goals. He has been recognized in news publications such as Barron’s “Top 1000 Financial Advisors,” the Financial Time’s “Top 400 Financial Advisors,” On Wall Street’s “Top 40 Advisors Under 40”, and’s “Top 100 Wirehouse Advisors.” Ira graduated from the University of Maryland in 1991.

Michael Berger

Michael Berger has been recognized in On Wall Street’s Top 40 Under 40 for three consecutive years and has over 20 years of investment experience in the financial services industry. Michael focuses on the construction of well-diversified, conservative portfolios for high-net-worth individuals. In addition to building his own laddered fixed income portfolios, Michael manages many diversified equity strategies. He is also well versed in structured products and alternative investments. Michael graduated from the University of Maryland in 1999 and was previously registered with Morgan Stanley, UBS Financial Services and Smith Barney.

Nadira Ramnarain

Nadira has been an invaluable member of the team for the past 17 years. In addition to coordinating the administrative responsibilities among the group, she is knowledgeable about the financial products valued most by investors. She is the initial point of contact for clients and works hard to satisfy any and all requests. Whether executing trades in accounts or answering questions about credit lending programs, she is dedicated to enhancing the client service experience.

Nadira received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Baruch College, majoring in Economics and minored in Finance. She is fully registered with Series 7 and 63 licenses.

Christina Lamboy

Senior Registered Client Associate


Christina has over ten years of experience in wealth management and is truly exceptional at client service. She works closely with Ira, Mike, and Kacey to analyze each client’s portfolio and produce detailed performance reports. Whether opening a new account or executing trades on a client’s behalf, she is dedicated to enhancing the client service experience.

Allison Bultman

Senior Registered Client Associate


Allison joined RBC Wealth Management in 2015 after graduating from The University of Wisconsin-Madison with a bachelor’s degree in economics. She joined The Mark/Berger Group in 2017 as a registered client associate. Allison assists in all areas of client service and passed the Series 7 and 63 exams.

Drew Shuman

Investment Associate


Drew graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Management and Finance in 2018. After two consecutive summer internships, Drew joined The Mark/Berger Group full-time as a registered client associate. He passed the Series 7 and 66 exams and aspires to become a Financial Advisor in the future.
