John began his career in 1984 with Gabriele, Hueglin, & Cashman, a nationally recognized municipal bond firm in New York City. In 1985, that firm was acquired by Tucker Anthony and in 2002, RBC Wealth Management acquired Tucker Anthony.
John is a Managing Director and has been a member of the firm’s Chairman’s Council since 1989. John was recognized as a Barron's Top 1,200 Financial Advisor in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023. He was also named an Advisor to Watch by Advisor Hub in 2022 and 2023 and a Forbes Best-in-State Wealth Advisor in 2023.
John is a 1983 graduate of Iona College, is a sports enthusiast and an accomplished athlete. He is an avid runner and has completed 17 New York City marathons, and 21 total marathons with completion times ranging from 2:37 to 3:30 hours. John is active in community affairs and is an advocate for charitable organizations such as World Vision, Children International, Center of Hope in Haiti, BlinkNow Foundation and the Morristown Soup Kitchen. He and his wife, Monica, also coordinate an annual Appalachia Mission trip through their church and provide annual high school scholarships via the Dr. June Micera Scholarship fund.
John lives in Mendham, New Jersey with his wife, and has four children.
