Vincent Woo currently serves as senior vice president of the Woo Group at RBC Wealth Management. Additionally, he is the branch director of the Private Client Group of RBC Wealth Management's Palos Verdes office, as well as the relationship manager of the RBC Capital Markets Institutional Middle Market Group. With over 30 years of experience working with high-net-worth individuals, foundations and businesses, Vincent has the background and instinct required to help client navigate through virtually every market environment, structure investment policies, and develop macro portfolio strategies. Together with his team and home office specialists, Vincent offers clients services such as portfolio development, retirement planning, education planning, estate planning services, tax minimization, debt restructuring, corporate cash management, banking, credit, insurance and long-term care needs. At RBC Wealth Management, Vincent has been consistently awarded annual membership to the firm’s President’s Council, which recognizes the top 400 Advisors.


Prior to joining RBC Wealth Management in 2011, Vincent served as managing director of corporate cash management at Oppenheimer & Co. for seven years, director of the Corporate Client Group at Citigroup/Salomon Smith Barney for 10 years, and as senior vice president at Kidder Peabody & Co. for 13 years. In addition to being recognized at both Oppenheimer & Co. and Citigroup as one of the top 50 Advisors, he was named the number one fixed income manager in Citigroup’s Institutional Fixed Income Group in 2003.


Vincent earned a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Southern California, graduating in the top 5% of his class. He received his bachelor’s degree in economics from Harvard University, graduating cum laude in 1979. Raised in Boston, Massachusetts, he currently lives in Palos Verdes Estates, California. He enjoys golf, traveling and spending time with his wife, Karen, and their two sons.

Dana McDonald has over 20 year experience in the financial services industry. Before joining the Woo Group as a financial advisor in 1998, she served as a sales associate at UBS for two years, handling the research and trading of fixed income investments. Dana’s role within the Woo Group is to create customized financial plans for clients and provide them with planning solutions and strategies needed to help them create, grow, preserve and transfer their wealth. Dana believes in a disciplined approach to investing that is founded on the time-tested guidance of a solid financial plan, asset diversification and a long term strategy. Dana received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, San Diego. After completing the Personal Financial Planning certificate program through the University of California, Irvine in 2016, she also earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification from the College of Financial Planning in 2017. The multi-year CFP® program entails in-depth courses, training, and comprehensive examinations in all areas of financial planning including investments, taxes, insurance, estate, and retirement planning. Roobina Yahya

Roobina Yahya currently serves as the senior investment associate of the Woo Group in the Palos Verdes office of RBC Wealth Management. Her responsibilities on the team include providing investment management administrative support, servicing clients, entering and executing trades, running and interpreting analytical performance reports, compliance management and providing research support.


Roobina brings over 19 years of financial services experience to the Woo Group. She began her career in 1999 at Morgan Stanley, where she served as an associate financial advisor for five years, servicing accounts in the Wealth Advisory Group and handling compliance. She then joined the Woo Group in 2004 as a senior financial associate. 


Roobina received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Darmstadt University in Darmstadt, German,y and immigrated to the United States in 1989 with her family. She holds her Series 7 and 63 securities registrations and is an active member of the Women’s Association of Financial Advisors.
