Tom has been a financial advisor for more than 20 years. He joined the industry after a 19-year career as a financial services executive; first joining Morgan Stanley before deciding to move his business to RBC Wealth Management. Tom focuses on helping clients through each stage of their lives, recognizing the changing needs of wealth accumulation, distribution and preservation for future generations.
Tom grew up in Rochester, Minnesota and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota. He went on to earn a Master of Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. Tom is a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA), earning that accreditation at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Tom and his wife Kathy live in Edina and have been married for 34 years.
Tom is a volunteer for VEAP, one of Minnesota's largest food shelves, and is a member of Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church Minneapolis. He has also regularly volunteered for Families Moving Forward, Loaves and Fishes and NC Little Hospice. In his free time, Tom enjoys exercising, biking or walking the lakes, reading and just about all sports.
