Last Friday, I had the joy of volunteering with United We Read, spending the morning reading 'We Are Definitely Human' to three different kindergarten classrooms. This is my second-year volunteering with this program and let me tell you, there's something incredibly special watching young students light up during a story -- these are the future leaders of tomorrow, and their curiosity is inspiring. A huge thank you to all the wonderful teachers --- the unsung heroes of our youth who welcomed me into their classrooms. Your dedication to fostering a love of literacy makes all the difference. I'm grateful for the opportunity to be part of this great program, and I hope I was able to help encourage the mission of developing a love for reading and spark a little imagination for the young readers along the way!
