Peter leads RBC Wealth Management’s Wayzata Complex, comprised of offices in Wayzata, Sioux Falls, Fargo, Duluth, St. Cloud and Lilydale. In this role, he is responsible for leading and supporting financial advisors who provide customized wealth management strategies and personalized guidance to affluent individuals, families and institutions.
As complex director, Peter focuses on creating an environment where financial advisors and staff can do their best work—whether that’s by providing resources, supporting business growth or making sure day-to-day operations run smoothly. He is dedicated to building a strong culture across the six offices, one that thrives on collaboration, integrity and putting clients first. At the heart of Peter’s leadership is a simple goal: ensuring financial advisors have the support they need to deliver an exceptional experience for clients who trust them with their financial futures.
Peter has spent over two decades at RBC Wealth Management, starting his tenure as a college intern in the firm’s Omaha Nebraska branch office. Prior to assuming the complex director role, Peter served as a wealth management consultant where he worked side-by-side with financial advisors throughout the firm’s central region, assisting in identifying, evaluating and delivering a wide variety of tailored wealth management solutions for clients. Additionally, he worked closely with firm leadership to continually drive awareness and adoption of new technologies, product platforms, investment strategies and services that ultimately allow our wealth management teams to execute on our client-first culture.
Outside of work, Peter serves on the Philanthropic Advisory Council for the Masonic Institute for the Developing Brain (MIDB), a first-of-its-kind institute forging new frontiers in child and adolescent brain health. In partnership with the MIDB and Medical Advisors, the council is dedicated to advancing the institute’s vision, promoting inclusion and engagement with the community, building awareness, and providing thought leadership to increase visibility of the institute and its role in serving children and families locally and across the globe.
Peter and his wife, Sally, live in Orono with their three children, Finn, Will and Hadley, and their lazy goldendoodle, Murray.
