Managing Director - Financial Advisor

Aaron’s mission is to help clients organize their financial lives to attain their goals, including wealth preservation, succession planning and wealth transfer. Aaron believes he can do that well because he intentionally limits the size of his practice, concentrating primarily on individuals and their families who are entrepreneurs and business owners that seek exceptional financial services. Aaron helps his clients build frameworks that begin his deepening understanding of their immediate family members and their financial situations. With that information, combined with an ability to draw on the global resources of RBC Wealth Management, Aaron can allocate more time and effort to each client. As a financial advisor at RBC Wealth Management, Aaron brings an uncommon combination of experience and youth to the table. In his 50s, Aaron has acquired three decades of experience and he plans on continuing to work for another two decades—allowing him to serve clients’ needs today and plan to be available for critical junctures in their lives.

Aaron has received industry-wide accolades, including being named a Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisor in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024, which he takes as a validation of the philosophy, values and guidance that he approaches his clients with. Aaron acknowledges that each client is unique and he is wholly committed to excel in handling strategic liquidity events and multidimensional complexities that often require highly sophisticated skills and capabilities, including paying special attention to clients’ large- and small-business needs. Aaron joined the financial services industry in 1992, yet it was his career goal since boyhood. In his youth, Aaron was influenced by both of his parents who were attorneys, including one who was a securities fraud investigator for the State Department of Finance.

Prior to joining RBC Wealth Management in 2024, Aaron worked for Merrill Lynch. He has also worked for small- and medium-sized firms. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from Boise State University and passed the Series 7, 63, 65, 9, 10 and 31 exams. In addition to being a proud alumnus, Aaron has served on many boards and helped with numerous nonprofits, including St. Alphonsus Foundation Board and Ducks Unlimited. Aaron and his wife, Annie, live in Eagle, Idaho, and enjoy happy and healthy relationships with their three grown children. They enjoy spending their free time at their cabin in McCall, Idaho, golfing, skiing and being outdoors.
