Jeff Ball has been a financial advisor for over 28 years. He started at Merrill Lynch in Freehold, NJ and then spent many years at Smith Barney where he was also the Resident Manager of the Marlboro, NJ office. Jeff chose to move his practice to RBC Wealth Management in 2009 after a thorough search for the best platform on which to serve his clients. He is delighted to be at one of the premier financial service firms in the world with an outstanding culture of service and integrity.
He did his undergraduate work at the University of Massachusetts, and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a political science degree and minors in history, psychology, and education. While there he was named to Phi Beta Kappa honor society. He indulges his appetite for life-long learning by regularly attending conferences and workshops on a variety of topics. Jeff is also an eager reader about finance, economics, and politics.
Jeff attained his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 1993. It reflects his breadth and depth of knowledge in the areas of college funding, retirement planning, estate planning, taxes and insurance. This complements the specialized knowledge of investments and the inner workings of Wall Street firms that comes with 28 years in the business.
There were many years spent in public service as a member of the Board of Directors of Temple Rodeph Torah and on the Board of the Greater Monmouth Chamber of Commerce. While he thoroughly enjoyed the countless hours of volunteer work and his colleagues in those organizations, he has refocused his time on serving the needs of his growing client base. When Jeff is not working he likes to spend time with family. In addition to spending time with family his outside interests include yoga, soccer, and lectures on comparative religion and various forms of spirituality.
