Prior to joining RBC Wealth Management, Dennis was a financial advisor with Wells Fargo Advisors, LLC (formerly Wachovia Securities, LLC) since 2002. He previously worked as a CPA specializing in corporate, individual and trust taxation from 1976 to 2000. Dennis passed Series 7 and 66 exams in 2001 with scores over 90 percent in each and helped start an investment advisory practice for his former CPA firm. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in accountancy from the University of Missouri – Columbia in 1976.

Dennis’ outside activities include involvement with Operation Uplift and serving as ruling elder for John Knox Presbyterian Kirk. He currently serves on the endowment committee for the John Knox Kirk Endowment Fund. Past activities include serving as committee chair for Overland Park Chamber of Commerce Government Affairs task force, Overland Park Chamber of Commerce board of directors, vice president, treasurer and board of directors for Blue Valley Educational Foundation, and treasurer and board of directors for Kansas City, Missouri Habitat for Humanity.

Dennis is married with six children and three grandchildren.
