Ellie began serving clients in the fall of 2021. Taking a stewardship approach, Ellie focuses on four key areas: wealth accumulation, adequate protection, income in retirement, and wealth transfer to the next generation. She operates a virtual office, connecting clients with resources and to care for clients’ investment, retirement, cash management, giving, estate planning, insurance, tax strategy, business strategy, and other needs. Ellie serves clients in MT, MN, and across the country.
Ellie has passed the Series 7 and 66 exams and holds her Montana Life and Health Insurance licenses. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish with a concentration in Management from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota.
Ellie began her financial services career at Thrivent Financial in Minneapolis on the Innovation and Corporate Strategy Division. Ellie led a wide range of projects across the organization to improve customer and advisor experiences. She’s developed a new product application and customer claims experiences, designed a financial education coaching program for the LatinX market in San Antonio, and scaled a dairy cow micro-insurance business in Nairobi, Kenya. She was an active member of the International Cooperative and Mutual Insurance Federation, serving as chair of the Young Leaders Forum, a group of rising insurance leaders. The forum prepared and presented case studies on the latest trends impacting the financial services and insurance industries.
Prior to joining RBC, Ellie served on staff of Bible Study Fellowship International in San Antonio, Texas. In her role as Children’s Design Lead, she combined her expert skills in innovation and design with her love for Jesus to develop a new K–12 in-depth Bible study curriculum for students around the world. Ellie lives happily in Belgrade, Montana, with her new husband Dan and their Bernese Mountain dog, Samson. She can be found enjoying all the mountains have to offer—skiing, hiking, fly fishing, hunting, gardening, camping and spending time with her family.
